The tools are OK, not enough bend in the shaft for waterfall ice. Great as an alpine tool (though heavy). The purchase is good in ice. The adjustment feature of the pick and adze/hammer is a dumb idea. Once you set it for verticle ice you never change it. It also has a tendency to work loose after a few days of use, seems like a acident waiting to happen! Buy something better, if your serious. Similar Products Used:
