Summary:
Light and very comfortable boot. No problem with heel lifting, infact I think this boot has a extremely comfortable rocker.
I use it for long alpine climbing, with Grivel 2F crampons, and for the approach to the mountain.

This winter I climbed waterice in them, although they are not warm enough for long stands... Better to take the insulated version -more rigid too- instead, but for summer alpine climbing the low weight and comfort is very nice. No problems with water if you treat them, dry feet! I think that the grip and feel of the sole are extreme good on rock! You almost can smear with them, and no other boot wil give you that feeling.

The yellow color will (soon after you start using the boot) get dirty. And I think the boot is overpriced a bit. The kevlar part gets a little flumsy but it remains ok.
Go light, every step you notice.

Summary:
Bought a pair of torres going cheap, thinking i had a good deal. Wore them around the house, and around town, and did not have any problems until i took them off road, where they caused blisters due to heel lift. I found this problem did not really ease with breaking in. Later, I found the heel unit was beginning to de-laminate. To their credit, Scarpa took the boots back, and replaced them with the thermic Cerro Torres.
i would recommend these to anyone who has low-profile heel bones, and i would advise you to buy them large.

Summary:
great boot, especially on mixed alpine in warmer months. A very light boot for its support and shank stiffness. Somewhat narrow toe box but makes it more precise on difficult rock. Can't say enough about its lightness, worth the high price

Summary:
Excellent boot for alpine climbing. Comfortable enough for long approaches and stiff enough to use ice climbing. I bought these boots for a trip in the Canadian Rockies and they proved to be great in talus, snow, technical rock, and on the approach trails. The sole is great for edging on rock due to its tight tread pattern under the toe. Took very little break-in. Little pricey, but worth it.

Customer Service:
BD/Scarpa customer service is great. They let me order 2 pairs so I could determine the right size, then send back the unused pair. I noticed a small crack in the rubber after having used the boots
