I beat the crap out of these boots, two summers trekking all over central B.C. with heavy packs on my back, 12-hours a day. Also spent several weeks on the Big Island of Hawaii walking on acidic ground, sharp Aa lava, and even molten lava!
These boots have stood up great. They are incredibly comfortable for the support they give, break-in was a breeze. I blew one seam on the back, had then stitched up by my local cobbler, and they have been great ever since.
Now if I can only find a second pair for when there waer out....
