Excellent video. It shows very well the risks in the icefall, crossing aluminium ladders with crampons on. It also shows well that although not technically difficult the exhaustion in the higher altitudes where every step is an effort.

Great photography in an area that we have all heard about but few will ever see.

This video was my first glimpse into the myth of Everest, and I can only say that it was breath taking. It really got inside just what the mountaineers were thinking and doing as they made the grueling struggle to get to the summit. The IMAX views were amazing, the narration was great, and the entire story line was touching and really made you feel with the people up on that mountain. I do, however, think the video could have been a little longer!

Very interesting and well done documentary. However, a lot of the scenes that were so impressive on the IMAX screen were mearly ho-hum on my 27 inch TV.
