I camp with the Boy Scouts in the mid-west approximately 30 days a year, all four seasons. I own at least three therm-a-rest self-inflating mattresses of different sizes and prices and I would trade them all for this little gem. This pad is the best yet if price, weight and comfort are a priority in your life. If asked to keep only one pad for year round use, I'll take Z Rest! True winter time luxury is a Z-Rest pad under your self inflating pad! Customer Service No experience Similar Products Used: Various Therm-a-rest self inflating mattresses. |

I have had this pad for 6 1/2 years now and I love it!! It is compact and light and alway reliable. I have used it on five 60 mile trips to the BWCA and one 30 mile trip in the mountains. I have also used it in winter camping (in combination with the ridge rest) for 6 trips to the BWCA (One winter trip a year, one summer trip a year). It''s great for the price I paid! Customer Service Never needed it Similar Products Used: Ridge rest |

Strength:
None This pad is not the best choice if space is a consideration, but it rates high in terms of simplicity and reliability. I go on an annual early spring canoe/camping trip with several friends. Most of them use self-inflating pads. When the temp is low it seems to take their pads a long time to flatten out and inflate. The Z-Rest is ready to go immediately. The reverse is true in the morning. While my friends are trying to roll and deflate their pads I''ve finished folding the Z-Rest and am reaching for the coffee. It''s simple, comfortable, inexpensive and gets the job done. Customer Service No experience here. Similar Products Used: None |
