at REI Summary: Went to REI to purchase The North Face Mountain Light. I have owened countless ML's over the years; however, after speaking with the sales person I decided to spend the extra 80.00 dollars on the Beta AR. The waterprofing is incredible. Jacket is super light and appears well made. (only time will tell.) I am most impressed with the jackets lack of frills. Not Velcro over the zippers etc etc.. Pockets are right where they should be. Hood is great and moves independently of the jackets body. Great fit. All this with Good looks. Sharp looking jacket. Similar Products Used: Mountain Hardware, The NorthFace

at REI Summary: I really love this jacket. It rains a lot in Minnesota and this is the first jacket to keep me completely dry. And I don't need to say anything about how amazing Gore-Tex is.

at Bentgate Mountaineer Summary: I have heard about how Arcteryx makes quality products. When I saw this jacket on sale, I just couldn't resist. THe jacket is extremely well made, light and durable. I would not hesitate to use it for any of my mountaineering adventures. One note: this jacket is a hip length jacket, if you are in need of something that is longer, I suggest the Theta LT. I only give a 4-star rating to value at its regular price. At the price I paid, I give it 5-stars. Watch for sales on this one! Customer Service: Haven''t needed it yet, but the reputation is excellent. Similar Products Used: Campmor High Peaks Parka, Patagonia Super Pluma Jacket

Price Paid:
$0.00 Summary: Yesterday I was skiing in Engelberg/Switzerland - one of the telemark- and freeride-capital. Weather was warm, no winds and I had dressed much to hot! Despite my sportive skiing I could regulate very well the heat and didn't soak in sweat like previously with my conventional ski gear! Mission succeeded!

at Transa Summary: Despite I write quiet well english, I'll do it in german for all the foreign visitors:
Customer Service: had non contact yet Similar Products Used: Jack Wolfskin
