Arc'teryx used a specially woven fabric to create nearly paper-thin waist and leg loops that spread the force over the entire surface area of the harness. No need for bulky, heavy padding. Four gear loops with removable rubber molding hold tons of quickdraws or a big trad rack, so you can take the R280 Climbing Harness on any rock climb.
