I had received a pair from dean Cummings an avid professional mountaineer and heli ski owner here in Valdez Alaska, I myself am a marine mechanic and am always on my feet in and outta boats and up and down ramps etc these shoes are bullett proof comfortable and allow me sure footing without calf fatigue that develops with inferior quality shoes that break down within weeks of purchase I did dye mine black just cause I would recommend these to anyone that has either a tough work schedule or in a wet or inclimate location I give these 5 out of 5
