Insulation starts from the ground up, and The North Face Minibus 2 Footprint adds a layer of water-resistant nylon between your Minibus 2 Tent and the wet or frozen Earth. The tough nylon spreads out beyond the dimensions of your tent (sold separately) to add protection from rocks and roots that could puncture your Minibus 2 Tent's floor. The North Face coated the footprint with polyurethane to help keep the water out when a storm rolls in after midnight.
