We don't really know what to write about the Mountain Hardwear Men's Stimulus Jacket, except that we've never seen a fully welded, fully waterproof jacket this light. Things we said when we tried it on: "Holy crap that's light!" also, "I feel like I'm cheating Earth's gravitational field!" At an absurdly light six ounces, the Stimulus packs like a dream, stretches in all four directions, and keeps you dry and protected from the wind before disappearing back into its own pocket like magic. It even has 360-degree reflectivity, a neck cinch cord, and a dedicated music pocket for running. While we wouldn't bomb through a briar patch in it or sit in a snowdrift, we'd definitely take this wispy wonder anywhere we didn't want or need to haul a heavy jacket.
