Wrap your hand around the smooth bass wood handle of the Kiaola Hinalea Adjustable Stand-Up Paddle, give a pull on the aluminum shaft, and cruise out across the water. A twisting lock by the handle allows you adjust the length of the lightweight shaft to your liking so you can use one paddle for almost the whole family (little ones will need something a tad shorter). With each stroke the teardrop-shaped blade channels water powerfully, and should you encounter some rocks the edge of the blade has a tough Dynel finish for durability. Rather of a collection of paddles of different lengths, you only need one Hinalea.
