Strength:
Good looks , Light weight, Power to reach out when needed, Also puts the fly down gently to spooky fish.
Weakness:
Grip was too small on factory rod for my tastes. Pick up a 7''9" blank as a frist rod building project. Could not be more pleased with this rod.Rod has a very nice finish & weighs next to nothing. This is now the #1 rod in my collection for trout & pan fish. Customer Service Have not had to use it yet. Strength:
Great action allows for delicate presentations. Superb feel while casting as well as fighting fish.
Weakness:
None that I''ve come across. I initially bought this rod to fish some of the smaller streams in my area with smaller flies, but it has quickly become my favorite rod for most situations. If presentation is important to you...you should own this rod. From a size 26 Griffith''s Gnat to a size 12 Red Quill...this is the best rod that I have ever used to throw dry flies. Delicate presentations take on a new meaning with this rod. I have caught everything from 6" brookies on local rivers in Massachusetts to 20+" browns in Montana on this rod and have never had a problem. Customer Service Never had to use it for this rod, but I have used Sage''s Customer Service in the past and they are excellent. Similar Products Used: None |
