I needed a new pack for hauling out game. Sorry for those of you who do not hunt, but I do. And I hunt elk, and they are heavy to pack out. No ATV forests, just wilderness. And in and out with as few trips as possible to avoid spoiling meat. This is the pack for hauling serious loads. We are talking 80 to 120 lbs here. The loads ride nicely on the hips where they belong. The strapping system allows for quick loading, and the load stays put. Not a small order for something like meat, which can shift suddenly without a good lashing system. The suspension system allows for adjustments where required. This is the ultimate pack for this type of activity. I had a Camp Trails freighter pack which looks like junk compared to this pack. Well worth the money when you are your own mule. Highly recommended. (And I bought on close out to boot for $99.) Happy trails!
