Love this pack. For carring large loads it is the whip! Went to Algonquin with my 11 yo son, he carried bags and some clothes in a dry pack, I carried the rest, pack weighed 94 lbs at the start, I know what was I carring? Well the weight transfer to the hips was great plenty of places to store hang stuff. I also have used this pack every month with the scouts, and treat it like hell, for 2 years. It is holding up great. I did add 2 compression straps hooked to the clevis pins to carry more gear. Customer Service not needed |

The bag self destructed on its first outing. Seams pulled apart, closures broke, frame bent. No more Kelty's. Ever. The poor bag only made one trip to Costa Rica and then had to be buried. Complete waste. Similar Products Used: None |

The Yukon gives you a great bang for the buck. It transfers the weight to the hips very well. I am looking foward to using it evern more this summer. This pack is an excellent choice for backpackers who are a little on the small side. Similar Products Used: I have tried various packs by Madden and Gregory. They were both internal frame pack.Neither one transfered weight over to the hips very well. |

This was my first backpacking backpack. The frame is great for growing kids. I recomend this pack to new Boy Scouts. This pack is great for weekend trips and is worth every penny spent. Parents this is a must get backpack for your children who are just getting into backpacking. Customer Service Kelty does an awesome job with their customer service. Eventhough their products are made in Korea, they back the workmanship with a lifetime guarantee with most of their products. Similar Products Used: None |

My son has used this pack for 3 years on moderate treks of 2 -3 days. During this time he has grown over 8" and gained 50 pounds. The pack has expanded along with him and remains comfortable. Durability has been excellent. The pack to frame design is a critical failure point. A long pin is used to secure several toggles which anchor the pack bag to the frame. This pin was snagged on the trail, popped off and was lost along with the toggles. luckily enough spare toggles and lock rings were available from other hikers. Replace these pins immediately with lock rings. (My super tioga is the same story). Overall a great pack for growing boys, moderate cube prevents carrying too much weight, great value, adjustabilty saves buying 2- 3 packs while youths are growing. Customer Service I bought the pack at EMS and they are aces at customer service. Similar Products Used: Kelty Super Tioga |

Classic frame pack design, but very nicely done. Seems to be very well made--been completely durable so far. Waterproofing is fantastic. On my last trip, we went trekked for nearly 5 hours through very thick, very rough undergrowth without any sort of trail. My Yukon took the abuse much better than I did. By the time we made it to easier going, it was pouring down rain, but by the time we stopped for the night everything in the pack was still bone dry. Waterproofing is big here in the great Pacific Northwest. It's Kelty, so you know it's got to be good. Highly recommended as a starter pack. Similar Products Used: None |

Very pleased. This bag has taken me through 3 years of outings every month with the BSA. Worked wonderfully during the 70 miles enjoyed at Philmont. Not one problem. So pleased with Kelty I sold this one to a good friend and purchased a Telluride internal frame pack because I wanted a more technical pack with more attributes. Hope i enjoy it half as much as this pack. Customer Service No Need. Similar Products Used: US ARMY A.L.I.C.E. Pack |

I am not very sure about this pack.It is not comfortable at all and not worth the money, buy a Jansport Rainer or Yosemite for 70$ more if you plan to be serious. As for me, I am switching to Gregory internal frame packs for now on. Similar Products Used: None |

Waste of money. The bag strap holder broke on the way out on the first (and only) trip with it. Found the seams to be very weak and very limited capacity. Two words: never again. Similar Products Used: Camp Trails Rainier |
