This was my first ever backpack. It served me well for several years on expeditions that ranged in length from weekends to two weeks. I am about to replace it with a larger internal frame pack only because i need more space for solo adventures and the aluminum rods that the straps are attached to have begun to bend. great pack overall, lightweight for and external too. |

Great external frame pack, fits my 6'1" - 190 lb. frame good, could use better padding for back and shoulder straps, good buy for the price. Customer Service REI customer service is top quality. Similar Products Used: None |

A great pack for its small size. Rugged and sturdy. Easy to adjust and comfortable. (Even at my size of 6'4"" @260 lbs.) Very dependable and a great buy. The only defect I found was the stitching in the hip belt. Poor quality, I was constantly ripping out stitches along the straps that connect the belt to the frame. Replacing the belt with an aftermaket belt fixed the problem. Similar Products Used: None |
