Pros: Strong, comfortable, reasonably priced, good features Cons: Awkward top lid, overly complicated. It lists for $150, but it's easy to find for under $100 (Campmor $79.99). At that price it's a great bargain. Not suitable for very large hikers, but otherwise a good fit and very adjustable. It's very comfortable and holds more than I'd want to carry, especially when fully expanded. The weight rides fully on the hips when properly adjusted. The bag has a lot of outside pockets and compartments, which is nice for organization--it also has many (too many?) lash points. Two water bottles holders along the belt are nice, but impossible to reach without taking off the bag. The top lid detaches as a fanny/day pack, but it's pretty worthless, and I leave it behind. Also, the attachment buckles and straps make for an overly complicated bag. I wouldn't want to send this bag through airport luggage, for example. But it's still the best internal pack I've seen for under a hundred bucks. Customer Service N/A |

Strength:
None
Weakness:
None I like the suspension system - easy to use and highly adjustable. This pack is affordable and durable. Top and bottom loading (sleeping bag compartment in bottom) and has side pockets for items that you need to get to quickly or often. Storm lid converts to fanny pack at base camp if needed, but I haven''t used it that way. Side compression straps to secure the internal load. Mesh side pockets for water bottles. Has tool loops. Waist belt is comfortable and suspension makes it easy to transfer weight where you want it. Carries enough for a 3-to-5 day outing but is a great weekender, too. Highly recommended. Great pack for the price! Customer Service Haven''t had to contact them. Similar Products Used: daypacks |
