My first internal frame pack after a 15 yr absence from the backpacking scene. This is hands down the best pack I have ever owned. The construction is great and the suspension system fit my 6'0" frame like a glove. How cool it is to put the sleeping bag on the inside now! I would definitely recommed any Gregory pack to my friends. The size gives me the versatility to go for a few days for out for a two week trek. I give this pack an A+ rating Customer Service I wanted some strapping of the same color as on my pack as well as some extra the Gregory snap buckles that the pack came with. My local REI did not carry these items. The next day they had a handful of meter long straps and 12 buckles in the mail. Of course I expected to pay for these but they said these were gratis, even though they were extras. Bravo Gregory! Similar Products Used: None |

I have now owned this pack for two years. I have covered much of the John Muir trail and a large portion of the Pacific Crest Trail. I have summitted 8 14's in California and hiked nearly the entire Desolation Wilderness. None of this makes me anything special but it does say a great deal about this pack. Got the Denali Pro from a local guy second hand. Looked close to new so I took a chance. Best $190 I've ever spent. Has worked flawlessly for two years of intermediate use. Will never have to buy another pack due to superior construction. Use the detachable top regularly for short outings or just to keep emergency gear handy in the car. Suspension is best available. Would enjoy an outside pocket or two, but this is easy to work around. Draws envy from everyone I've hiked with. Similar Products Used: None |

Unbelievable! 60-pound loads in the Cascades with no problem whatsoever with comfort or durability. Perfect for the "pack mule" of the team, or for the chronic over-packer (like me). Tried other big packs (Lowe Alpine, Arcteryx Bora), but none even come close to this one. Viva Gregory!! Customer Service No need for this as yet Similar Products Used: Lowe Contour IV, Arcteryx Bora 80 and 95 |

Very happy with this pack. Carried 65+ pounds on an early spring ascent of Mt. Whitney with panache. I can load this pack thirty pounds heavier than my Arc Teryx Bora 80 and it still is far more comfortable. Truly a joy. Construction is bomber. Similar Products Used: Dana Terraplane |

What can I say? Truly the most hard core pack I have ever tried. Of course it's heavy, but for good reason. The Denali Pro shows an attention to detail that brings its cost into perspective. Despite its expedition weight, it has proven its versatility as a weekend companion. There is much to be said for its waterproofing and back panel breathability. Thanks Gregory. Customer Service Sympathetic and cooperative. Similar Products Used: Terraplane |

This is a very big and very heavy pack. I use it for multi-day winter trips and multi-week trips in the summer. It has an incredible suspension. It is the most comfortable pack I have ever worn. It is very well made and doesn't seem to have any weaknesses in construction (hence the heavy weight). My only complaint other than weight and price is the sleeping bag compartment. The only way I can get my winter bag in the compatment is to just stuff it and not use a compression sack. Actually this works well in the end because I don't have the added weight of a compression sack. I have no problem adding extra items to the outside of the pack. I can easily carry my snowshoes (or skis), crampons, ice axe, shovels and pickets at the same time. Overall a great pack for its intended purpose- long trips to cold places. Customer Service Only experience I have had are a number of unanswered emails. Similar Products Used: Lowe Contour, kelty externals |
