A lot of external pockets, cinching straps and attachment points. Comfortable padding on shoulder straps. Strong zippers that have never failed me yet. Have used this for about 5 yrs now, probably close to 85-90 nights over long weekends and week long treks. Has held up very well all things considered.

Short waste belt ( we do not all have a 36” waste). No separate sleeping bag section with external access. Straps are hard to adjust, but they never slip either. Unexplained tie down corde on top flap, not sure how it was designed to work.
