I baught this pack 4 years ago for mountain climbing and have enjoyed it since. It has worked for short day trips and even weeklong trips on Mount Rainier. If they were still made I would not hesitate to buy another one when this one wears out.

The Randonee internal frame Backpack by Jansport was the first framed backpack I ever bought. I took it on a three day hike with a group of buddies. The pack handled A extrodinary amount of weight (75lbs) more than I should of took. I was impressed with its durability and comfort (when packed correctly.) I have used this pack on two other shorter trips and was impressed with its comfort when carrying a light load. I like the bladder sleeve, bottle holders and number of compartments. The pack is a good choice for those who enjoy backpacking for a few days. I am currently looking for a bigger pack however.
