Kelty Lightwing Pack -- I've had mine for several years. I couldn't ask for a better carrying pack, be it with only 20 pounds or 80 pounds payload. There are enough straps on it to strap on anything you might need from sleeping bags to bear-proof food containers if it won't fit in the pockets or main compartment. When wearing this pack, you ARE wearing it -- not carrying it -- the belt and suspension distribute the weight onto your pelvis and off of your shoulders. Even with 75 pounds in and on it, I still make 3 mph hiking in the Sierra. This pack is well worth the price of admission. Customer Service Haven't needed any with this pack. Similar Products Used: Jansport, Gregory, Camelbak -- I use the Lightwing in wintertime when snowshoeing to carry survival gear -- just in case -- and when backpacking with my 11 year old. |
