This little beauty has been everywhere with me. I picked it up in New Zealand almost 10 years ago. Red has been; trekking in Nepal, road tripping in Mongolia, done the Trans-Siberian, spent months in the Outback of Australia and much more.

This backpack has been nicknamed 'The Mary Poppins' bag for it's ability to hold anything (this bag is considered a 2-3 day pack). In Nepal and Mongolia, Red, was stuffed well beyond capacity for months at a time.
Red has never been cleaned or repaired. Not a zipper broken or a tear anywhere on this masterpiece. I did almost cheat on Red once. The night before leaving for a six month trip to China, Mongolia, and Russia I had bought a $400 pack (flashy and high end). In the middle of the night I woke up in a cold sweat, the closest thing to a panic attack I have ever had. I repacked everything back into well worn Red ...this was the last time I cheated on my backpack. Needless to say my sister now has quite the flashy pack that I never used.

Hi there, This is a piece of real quality ! I bought it second hand from someone who was planning to reach for the summit of Mont Blanc here in Europe. Half way he ended with a terrible headache and promised himself to sell all the stuff he bought. And that's when I came in. Saw his advertisement for the goods and bought it. I haven't been able to bring it to the Alps yet, (this summer I definately will) but after trying a lot others, this one beats most of them on comfort. there are a lot of extra compartments and it's also possible to take it on a one-day trip if you like. By the way, it looks good too.

Customer Service

Not neaded so far. Lowe has a good name on quality.

This is the single best buy I've ever made. I was in a study abroad program in London. The day before one of my weekend adventures my brand new generic pack busted a seam, leaving me stranded. Next thing I know I'm traveling with my pack. It's a top-loader, so it doesn't pull back. It has carabeener hooks in the front that you can use for a day pack. You'll need a packsafe because it is very difficult to lock, but the padding and frame support and the aircool system is more than worth the hassle of carrying a packsafe. Another bonus is that there are side compartments an exterior stuff sack on top (great for a windbreaker or something you might need handy) and another compartment on the bottom which is great for shoes or damp items that you don't want floating around your pack. The biggest thing is comfort and durrability. I beat my pack to death and it's still going and it's so comfortable that I don't bother to take it off when i'm waiting around for my friends to catch up!

Customer Service

I really don't know. I've never had a single problem, even through all the abuse I give my pack from going through the airport with the straps out to over stuffing it to the point of breaking things (shot glasses) inside before I put any visable strain on the the seams of the pack.

I tried to go bargain and buy a generic pack, I don't remember the brand, and a seam broke while i was walking down the street, fully loaded, in London. My stuff was everywhere, and I did lose some stuff. Please believe me when I say, even if you don't buy this pack, BUY QUALITY!!!
