I have had this pack for two years now and have done numerous 2 and 3 day trips with it.
It is a very comfortable pack and can easly be adjusted to a snug fit.
Incredably tough and waterproof.
It has not got much space to spare so on a 3 day trip I find I am packing just the bare essentials ( not a bad thing as it forces me to pack lite)
I consider it one the better pieces of gear I have bought

What a great pack. I've been looking for a pack that could handle summer backpack trips as well as one that could carry all the gear needed for winter mountain ascents. This is everything I need.
Two ice ax loops, the slot for a shovel, and the compression straps for snowboard or snowshoes make this the ultimate climbing pack. In addition, the pack has what it calls "rack patches" on the waistbelt where you can attach carabiners. This allows you to keep some climbing gear handy.
At 3200 ci, it should be big enough for multi-day summer trips, but winter trips would be tough. I just spent a night near Berthoud Pass with this pack and it was stuffed to the gills, but managed to hold everything i needed. Keep in mind that I had a Bibler I-Tent (very small) and a 750-fill down bag (even smaller), so you may not be able to do a winter overnight if you have larger gear.
This pack was plenty tough, and I never had a concern that the fabric might rip as I was jamming more and more into it.
This pack also includes a removable hydration pack that will fit most bladders. The hydration pack is nothing more than a rectangular mesh pocket, so it takes up no room. And it has straps so it can be worn for trail running or short day hikes.
All in all, an incredible pack. All details were very well thought out. Marmot has produced yet another incredible product.
