The CM Super Sarc is THE totaly bomb proof pack. The fit is superb, the sewing is second to none. It is a very clean and functional pack with very few bells and whistles yet is well thought out and incorporates neat little tricks throughout like a built in compression system in the bag compartment. It rated at 5000 ci to 6000 ci extended. but I think that these ratings are low. You can fill the thing up with junk untill you can't dream of carrying it, yet you can compress it down to where it will serve as a verry nice daypack. The top compartment actually works as a verry nice and functional fanny pack. I use mine as a summit assault pack, ice climbing bag and general backpacking pack. The CM uses the bottom half of the bayonet frame so it carries extremely well over any terrain. The price is kinda up there but when you consider that you are getting a custom built and fitted pack of this kind of flawless quality it doesn't seem bad at all. I just can't say enough good things about the McHale...just ask my friends they are sick of me and my prattle. CHEERS. Reb.
