An awesome 40litre bag. Great for day touring in the backcountry. All double stitched and seams are taped. Nicely contoured to hug your back. The only flaw is that the top ""cap"" does not extend to fit over the snow sleeve??? Customer Service : MEC is apparently pretty good to deal with on any warranty issues, although I am only speaking from what I have heard (I have never had to return anything to them, and I have bought tonnes). I bought this pack for offroad bike touring. I have never been a fan of panniers on bikes; they mess up the bikes handling too much. This pack seems really well constructed, for the money, have owned it a year, and had no problems. The back is raised a bike, and ventilated; very comfortable when hunched over on a bike. I find that I can't stuff the top flap, and ride, as it prevents me from tilting my helmeted head up. The pack feels very solid, while wearing it, and doesn't swing or bounce around, maybe because it is so narrow. I like it Similar Products Used: None |
