This review is for the Serratus Alpenlite. This is the best pack I've carried yet and is especially well suited to alpine assaults and longer climbs. This pack would suffice for a climb like Denali. Over 5 days, with 50 pounds on board, this pack was always comfortable. The suspension, which is sewn to the packbag, gave up nothing to suspensions which offer broad range of adjustment. The sewn on suspension made the pack more stable than the fully adjustable flavors on rough terrain, while still allowing the flexibility to change how the load distributed between shoulders and hips. 4 compression straps per side, plus one under the lid kept the load in place. Lid is adequately large and not floppy. Plenty of lash points outside the pack, but the volume is large enough that little should need to go outside. Pack comes w/ velcro keepers for ice axes, and as a nice touch, the ice axe loops are adjustable so that the axes stay snug, in place. Very light for its volume.....mine (a medium) is 4lbs 11oz on my scale and holds 5200 cu. in. of stuff. I sold my Makalu Pro to buy this pack and am glad I did. Customer Service Dunno.....when I heard the pack was coming out and emailed w/ questions, they responded within 24 hours. Great Large Pack. I have used it on several overnight hikes over the past year and it performed great. Plus, I bought it from a Canadian store and got the US/Canadian currency exchange rate. Very simple with one big pocket and a top that removes for a fanny pack. I have no complaints about this pack. I'd reccomend it to anyone. Similar Products Used: Gregory Fury (solid day pack) |

I love my pack. It's the most comfortable bag I've ever worn, next to some of the kelty's, and the features are perfect. The side zip is a blessing, however I bought a rain cover so that it wouldn't leak when in my canoe. Excellent value, very durable, fits two 20 litre drybags side-by-side inside the bottom section of the pack. Similar Products Used: Arctery'x-Bora 85 |

Excellent pack. Very comfortable and sturdy. Good adjustment room. The fanny pack that is attached is a little large, Good pocket space. Side zip is very handy for accessing stuff from the bottom of the pack. Overall, a great buy |
