I almost felt guilty when I recived my Vortex 5800 in the mail a few days ago. The reason for this is after looking over the backpack I felt bad that I purchased it for only $240. This was a big difference from the 400 dollar price tag that this pack carries. My guilt came from the fact that this pack is worth $400. After closely inspecting the pack I was amazed at the quality in construciton. The bag is built like a tank and yet is extememly comfortable to wear. It is also very easy to access your gear as a result of two large pockets on the front and the abilty to open up the bottom lumbar section. One of my favorite features was the huge (I mean huge) rubber tabs on the zipper pulls. The zippers themselves are also very large. Besides the quality in construcion, Vortex also stands by all of there products with an unconditional lifetime warrenty. Even if you damage the pack yourself, they will fix it.

Customer Service

Customer service was the best that I have ever recieved from any company I've ever done buisness with. I ordered a large pack and the waistbest was a little to large for me, so they promptly sent me a smaller waisbelt without any quesions or hassles. Incredible company.
