Nicely constructed, but has two issues that I've noticed with two other kinds of Gore-Tex boots made of leather and fabric: 1) the Gore-Tex liner ultimately leaks, and 2) the fabric quickly starts to absorb water even before it does, even after using Nik Wax treatments. These are the most horrible shoes I have ever owned. These shoes made so many weekend trips pure hell. My heels got the worst blisters I have ever had with these shoes. I will never buy merrell again. I logged 500 miles with these easy and they got worse with time.
