I own the One Sport version. They ar egoing on their third year of use. Extremely stable boot. Good support everywhere. When they were new I loved the fact that they could keep, my feet warm, dry and comfy through anything. They've been a good boot but this year the front toe sole has begun to delaminate, a common problem so i hear. A little heavy for me. This summer I'll have to but a new pair, probaly something lighter, but all-around a great boot. I assume Montrail has fixed One SPorts delamination problems. Similar Products Used: None |

I actually own the original One-Sport Moraines (before they changed to Montrail). These dogs are the toughest mid-to-heavy weight kickers I've used (which has been for the past 5 years, without problem). Tough construction holds up against the roughest terrain. Insulation and water-repellancy are top-notch. Weight is on the heavy side, for day hiking. High cuffs and rigid sole are not conducive to scrambling. But that's not what these boots were intended for: if you use 'em for rocky, hard trails, over extended trips with heavy loads, they'll rock. I've sealed them lightly over the years and the only way my feet have ever gotten wet (even in knee deep snow), is when I dunk myself in a stream crossing and the water drowns in through the top. For general, weekend and/or light adventures, go with something else. The Moraines were made for heavier duty abuse. Similar Products Used: None |

I got these as a gift about a year ago. They fit almost perfectly with literally no break-in time. I have used them a number of times and have been very happy with them each and every time. My last use was a 3-day winter trip with a 50+ lb pack, unbroken snow trail, and no snowshoes. The boots were great and my feet stayed nice and dry. Similar Products Used: None |

Great boot that lasts. I have the OneSport version of this boot from five years ago. I have put many miles on these boots backpacking and climbing 14ers and they have stood the test of time. Comfortable, warm and supportive. Last season the sole on the toe started to delaminate but I've used some shoe-goo to extend the life a bit more. I have size 13 feet that are quite narrow. I also always use Ultimax liner socks and have never gotten a blister or felt any hot spots. If possible I'd like to get these re-soled I'm so pleased with them. Similar Products Used: Bought some Zamberlan boots (I think the Civellta) and tried breaking them in for a few weeks at home. They continually bothered my tendons on the top of my foot so I took them back for the OneSports. |

Working on my second pair of One Sport Moraines. The first pair I bought a 1/2 size too big. Unfortunately I have crazy feet, 9 1/2's are too big, 9's with superfeet insoles put too much pressure on my toes and instep. So I can't get any real supportive insole into these with out cutting all circulation too my toes. But it doesn't matter because these boots rule. Bomber leather, great support. I beat the hell out of these and they still stand up to the sharp rocks and talus that try to eat my ankles. They are a bit heavy for anything but vicious loads though. I wore them on a 2 day traverse of the white mountains in New Hampshire and wished I had a lightweight approach boot instead. Still I hope to have my "One Sports" for years to come.
