I purchased two pairs of Rocky boots before I retired from the Postal Service. The soles on both pairs have deteriorated. They can't be resoled. They are worthless. I won't buy another pair.

Customer Service

Only have a one year guarantee.

I would not recommend Rocky boots to anyone. They are poor in quality and the company will not stand behind their products!

Customer Service

No response - I have written their customer service as well as their Chairman and CEO, Michael Brooks

I really like the Rocky Boots; however they do not stand behind their products and they do not hold up. I have had now over 7 or so pair of Rocky procuct footware and I can not say that any of them were note worthy of holding up or withstanding the normal wear and tear that should be expected. I only wear my Rocky's in the fall hunting season and an occasional winter stroll from time to time; the soles were breaking apart on the last pair and the previous pairs the soles quickly worn apart. On the first pair, they seeped outside moisture. I am now giving up on them. Yes, they are comfortable but they do not hold up. If you want a pair of boots to hold up for a while, Rocky is not the ones. If you want to spend a $130 for a pair of comfortable boots every year or two, well keep looking at the Rocky's. I just sent the last pair back with cracked soles and they did not even have the decentcy of opening the package, they refused the package all together. I have also had various other Rocky boot styles and had similar experiences with them. The soles are really a weak part of the boot.

Rocky's "Air Bob" soles disintegrated with very little use. I doubt if they have 15 total miles on them

Customer Service

Very poor. Only have a one year warranty. But they'll let me pay to have them re-soled! Whoo Hooo!

I own a pair of Rocky boots Model 7774 9" jungle boots with barrel speedlacing. I have had them since 1988 and have worn them just about everday as my workboot, casual footwear and through English winters and on all my 17 jungle expeditions in Malaysia. they have trekked through jungle mud, tropical saltwater, snow, ice, rain and the occasional washing machine and tumble dryer! They are still going strong & are the best tactical boots I ever bought, eventually the soles wore down, not surprisingly (softer rubber than Vibram types) and I retired them from active duty for a pair of Hitec Magnum Classic's but they dont have barrel speedlacing and are just not as good.

Customer Service

I never used them. Asia is another world away from the US.

Rocky Bear Claw boots purchased just 4 years ago for over $150 shot. I hunt perhaps 5 times a year and used the boots for light hiking and snow shoveling. The sole (hardly worn) of the boot and the gore-tex insulation are first class. Last year the pull up strap in the back came off at the base. Now, the seams holding the lining in are coming unraveled. They can not be repaired. Based on other boots I've owned, these should have lasted at least 10 yrs. The flaws seem to be in the manufacturing, specifically the sewing, though I'm not a boot expert. I won't be buying Rocky Boots in the future!

Customer Service

Customer service did not have an explanation for why their boots came unraveled. Of course they are out of warranty and they shared their sympathy with me.

My review is regarding the Rocky Wildcats.
The first feel was OK. Then I went out hunting and after just ONE trip the soles were completely worn out.
I will never buy any Rocky boot again, after this experience. The sole was too soft for rocky terrain, even though they were supposed to be "hunting boots". I have no complaint regarding the waterproofing and insulation.

I have a pair of Rocky Super Stalker that I have worn about 4 time per hunting season for the last 3 years.
The sole is breaking of in chunks. rocky said return the boots and wee will repair and return the end of Jan.
The boot should be replaced. A
good pair of boots should last for many years. Have other complained about Rocky boot quality??

Customer Service

The Rocky customer was non caring take it or leave it.

I have owned Rocky Boots and have had them fall apart after very little use! The company's warranty is short (90 days) and after that its your tuff luck. The company wants to sell you parts so you can find a shoe repair shop to do the work. I'll never buy Rocky boots again!
