These are nicely made boots except the part that goes around your ankle is like a big gravel scoop. I returned mine.

No other boot I have tried or owned has had this problem.

Rather disappointed with these boots. They are confortable but I had big problems getting good drip on some of the trails in Nepal, especially on gravel. They are good all round boots for moderate conditions but they couldn't handle some conditons as well as other boots worn by people in our group.
