I have the 0 degree version. It stays warm to 15 degrees (naked), but with thermals is good to 0. Wicks away moisture very well (breathable). Compressability is almost as good as a down bag. Love the adjustability of the hood and draft collar. Toe box is built roomy and can accomidate large feet. However, the rest of the bag is slim. Huskies need not apply.

This was a nicely crafted bag with some good features, however it was very narrow. If you are of a large stature (not fat, but wide shouldered or brawny) be prepared to feel like you are sleeping in a sardine can! It was extremely narrow around the knees and upper body. It did have a very roomy footbox which was nice, however I was too squished everywhere else to really appreciate it. The bag was a 15 degree model which has a draft collar which I thought was nice, and you don't see on too many other bags in this price range. The quality, especially for the price ($119 through Campmor) was exceptional. However, if you aren't a beanpole or are the least bit claustrophbic, I'd be careful. Make sure you have the ability to try it out before you buy it. I WOULD buy this bag again if it was shaped a bit wider.

The bag is very good for the price however the 0 degree serrano has failed to keep me warm in moderate temperatures down to 20 degrees. It seems to have lost all of its loft in a peroid ot 6 months. I put a liner in the bag and this still did not solve the problem. If I had it to do over again I would pay more money and buy a better quality sleeping bag.

I have a 0 degree serrano that I have used a few times and enjoy it mostly because it is light weight for the temp.,and when inside it is non-restricting, I can move around without feeling clostriphobia. Also the amount of adjustments that can be made while inside makes it comfortable in warmer than expected wheather. I would also like to mention that its price was right from where I bought it which helped with the purchasing decision. The only thing that kind of anoid me on cold nights was that the hood wasn't quite long enough; but maybe that is because I am 6'4"".

I have the 15 degree version, but being a cold sleeper with little body fat, it stops being toasty warm at about 20-25. However, it is bearable to 15 as long as you're wearing your long undies. The hood and draft collar work nicely to seal in heat and cover everything except your nose. I love the light weight and it drys quickly. The shell is suprisingly water resistant. I have been caught outside in wet snows before and only woke up when the snow started getting in my nose. It is narrow around the knees and some people will not like that, but it doesn't bother me. It's also a great value; I picked mine up for $109 in Campmor or REI (can't remember).
