I use the 15+ deg. version of this bag. In short, the quality is excellent, a great value. Temp ratings are also very accurate. I used this bag to create a wide range sleeping system. By using a Mountain Hardware Bivy and a Seirra Designs micro fleece liner you can create an excellent four season system. In very cold conditions, use all three products. In mild conditions (summer) zip the liner in to the bivy for a light weight bag. All three are pieces are very light and compact. They easily fit into the sleeping bag compartment of my pack with room to spare. Customer Service Great Service from Bean and Mountain Hardware. |

Used this bag on several trips now. It packs up nice with the stuff sack permanently attached to the bag - the sack fits into a pocket sewn into the bag when not in use. The bag lofts nicely (750 down) and I haven't had a problem with any tears or lost down yet. Well made and comfortable. Customer Service Customer service is unequaled. Buy it; try it; if you don't like it, send it back. No questions - they might ask when you bought it if you no longer have the receipt so they get you the proper refund, but that is about it. I buy most of my equipment there and the prices are usually in line with other outlets - the service is worth whatever little extra you might pay for some items. The LL Bean branded often represent pretty good deals anyway. Similar Products Used: None |

I have had this wonderful sleeping bag for about four months now, and I have not had a single problem with it. There is plenty of room for me and I am about 6 feet tall. It packs up real nicely and it is warm on cold nights! Great product!! Customer Service good customer service! Similar Products Used: none |

I was able to pick up last years for an out standing price - $125. It is very light and packs up quite small, as you would expect for 750 fill down. I like the built in stuff sack. Mine is rated to +15 and I feel from some nights around there or 5-8 degrees colder that is about right. Excellent quality for the $$$ Customer Service I returned a LL Bean lite loft bag which just did not meet my expectations. The staff at Beans took a long time taling with me and helping me pick out this bag. Similar Products Used: LL Bean Liteloft, another polyester fill bag |

Temp rating, I think, is a bit too generous. But then again, I'm a very cold sleeper. The obvious downside to this bag is its shell. I feel like I can tear it just by touching it. Otherwise, it served me well, especially in Bolivia during the winter. Now that's cold!!!!!!!!1 |
