I don't know why the High Camp models aren't being reviewed here, but this one seemed pretty close (synthetic, 0 degree, about $135 from the catalog).

I had to return mine because the web site advertised a 10" x 16" stuff size, which would've been large for my internal frame pack, but still would have fit. When I got the bag, though, the stuff sack was really 13" x 15", which if you calculate the volume, turns out to be 58% larger! When I realized I'd have to get a compression sack to even try it, the added cost put me into goose down territory, so I bought a Marmot Never Summer instead.

The quality of the L.L. Bean bag seemed to be very good, however. I was sorry to have to send it back.

Customer Service

L.L. Bean accepts returns and the person on the phone was very cheerful about it. Or maybe she just heard the regret in my voice!

A great bag for the money. As with all LL Bean products, the quality is great. Very functional. Kept me warm enough for winter camping in February and even was comfortable on a cool summer night!
Experienced gear-heads would probably demand more...

I have had my bag for quite a while now. I would have to say for the money it is one of the better bags out there. I have spent many nights in sub twenty degree weather and been just fine. It isn't the best, but unless you do some crazy weather camping it is all you need.

LLBean MT.Washington 20 degree synthetic mummy sleeping bag was satisfactory for several years. Comfortable to 20 degrees. Hood and collar kept head warm and minimized draft. Reasonably priced. However, after several years of use and 4 or 5 washings, the bag lost insulation and was not comfortable at 20 to 30 degrees, even with extra clothing.

Customer Service

I have not used customer service for this product but their overall costomer service reputation is excellent. They would probably replace this bag if requested to do so.

I lived in this bag for about two months in some pretty severe conditions. It kept me warm and dry and survived some insane abuse. A great backpacking bag (lightweight, dosen't absorb water, compact) for a reasonable price.

Customer Service

L.L. Bean has a reputation for great costumer service and it didn't stop with this bag.

I have had the privilege of sleeping in this bag for over a year now. When I am at home I still use this bag instead of bed sheets. I took this bag with me to Wyoming a few months ago and slept in the back end of my old Caravan and survived the weather fine. I will use it on canoe trips too. This bag separates itself from the rest because it is the perfect price to weight ratio. 99 dollars for a 40 degree bag that weighs 30 ounces and packs to 8 x 12. Nice!

Customer Service

I have never had a problem with L.L. Bean and do some shopping there. This product is rare in that it is not over priced. They tend to charge top dollar.
