Generally this bag is too warm for me until the temperature is down to freezing. I'd just used this in a Sierra blizzard with the overnight temp hovering around 5-10F and stayed warm (I did have a long sleeve baselayer on) throughout. Only criticism is that it's not all that stuffable (I use a compression sack) and is perhaps a couple of ounces on the heavy side, otherwise it's functional and built like a tank.

I was tired of freezing at night. I''m always cold, even in 40 degree weather. I decided it was time for a good bag, so I put my money on Marmot. Although, I think I paid TOO much, this bag did not disappoint! Very comfy, seems overstuffed, well constructed, and keeps me WARM! I jam it in my compressor sack, and it fits nicely in my pack. I was skeptical of the temp ranges on all bags. I''ve only had this one out in overnight lows of about 25 degrees, I''d say, but finally, I was warm, and slept like champ!

I''m extremely happy with this bag. The temp rating is true with the 0-10 rating. I''ve been in 20 degree weather and had to unzip to keep from overheating. Bag may be somewhat constricting for some, but I like the hard taper from shoulders to feet. I''m 6ft tall and use the regular size, and still have a few inches at my feet. Loft is great.. bag feels almost overstuffed. Doesn''t pack down as small as higher power fill bags, but fit in just about any pack...

this is a great 0 degree bag, with solid 600 fill down and compressible and light 3lbs 8 oz package. great dwr.

i have a feathered friends swallow as my summer bag, but i got chilly on a hi 30s night. the never summer does the trick down to 0 degrees. the regular size fits me fine (6') hood could be a little more filled, but i like the long draw cord, nice stiff zipper collar, polarguard filled draft tube is beefy.

a nice bag at $250, a great value at $170.

I used this bag for 3 years. It is warm comfortable and well worth the money. My only complaint: in the morning I tend to have a lot of condensation or other kind of wetness on the upper side. Still a great buy.

Im sure they go the numbers wrong with this bag, i normally sleep cold but was warm as toast in this bag on a recent trip in -20 weather. the loft is superd and the thickness as it lies is just so inviting after a hard days outdoor adventure. i use this as my winter bag and have a summer bag also and although there isnt much of a pack size difference the warmth to weight ratio is unequalled in any other bag i have tried. the only complaint i could possibly have is the nylon inner which i dislike though this is down to personal preference rather than performance . the draughtcollar is excellently filled but i find it a little hard to operate once zipped in for the night. the hood is a perfect fit for me and fits snugly round the face. the foot box is also of top quality. i stand at bang on 6' tall and find the regular size is just right, as i have ofund with other bags i often have to choose the large size because the regular is just too tight and end up carrying an extra foot of material taht i dont need. All in all the best buy i have made in sleeping bags in a long time.

A great bag. I sleep cold and was comfortable in this bag down below 10 degrees. The details are impressive. The shell sheds dew and light water without a problem. Stuffs easily into the size of a basketball.
The only problem I have is with bag width -- I have a 44" chest and find the shoulder width a little snug.

The Marmot Never Summer bag is as good as it gets... easy to pack, light weight, good in all but the very coldest mountain storm. Worth the cost of the bag many times over...

Great sleeping bag. compresses down to about the size of a soccer ball, and weighs next to nothing. I am considering buying another one with opposite zips, so I can connect the two together. Marmot bags are a little pricey, but if you look for deals, you can usually find them. My bag ran $250.

Before I found this, I was using an old army -50 degree down bag. Although this bag was warm, it ranged around 11 lbs. Enough to make my back hurt just thinking about it.
