I bought this bag at the last minute for a BWCA trip. I have on order a Western Mountaineering Ultralight but it's on a 2 month backorder. I wanted something light and good to below freezing. The first night it was in the high 30s or low 40s and I was cold until I put on the long underwear. I was disappointed in being cold until putting on the Polartec. I was cold when I went to crawl in but was surprised I didn't warm up at all. The rest of the nights it was warm and I wasn't too hot or too cold in the bag. It compresses to next to nothing and is made pretty well. I wish it has jazzier colors but that's not important. For the price I thought it was a good bag.

I love this bag. Great compressability and so light! Kept me toasty on a couple of sub zero nights this spring. Plenty roomy for me as well (5'10"; 195 lbs). The zipper has caught a couple of times when the bag is fully done up (there is a little piece of fabric on the outside that keeps getting jammed), but since I don't usually have to get up in the middle of the night, it's not really a concern.

This bag has met all my expectations. It's roomy for me, 5'10" 190 lbs. The weight is right @ 2 lbs. It has kept me warm throughout backpacking trips to temps down to the forties. I was cold one night in the bag, don't know the temp, but there was ice in my water bottle outside my tent the next morning. Overall a good summer bag. Total time in bag, about 10 nights so far.

Had a North Face Cat''s Meow - synthetic - rated to 20. Never felt wrm in it - I think the bag had a hard time breathing. Bought the Marmot, rated to 30, and have tried it down to about 32 - 34. Slept really well at that temp with only light clothing on. The bag seems to be cut quite wide in the hip/shoulder area which really increases its comfort and "sleepability". When I weighted it at REI, it came in at 2 pounds, 3 ounces.

I got this bag last minute for a camping trip where the temperature was suppose to be 32+F. The rating on this bag is 30+F, which seems to be right on. One night the temperature dropped to 25F and it was a bit cold.... The bag breathes very well, which is one of the drawbacks from my Sierra Designs bag. I got the bag at REI''s end of season sale... great bag for $159...
