Wow. It kicks ass! I dug a solo snow grave 5' under on top of a 8000' ridge and bivy'd it for the night. The temp dropped to -5 F. I laid there and looked at the stars nice and toasty and even had to partially unzip the top. Dam warm! No bogus temp rating on this bag. The warmth is attributed to their narrow sidecut and bottom side zipper to really seal in your heat against your body. They know what their doing. Active sleepers may find it a little confining. Best bag for the weight.---matt Customer Service Moonstone is a little hard to contact at times but their bags are the best in the industry. Similar Products Used: Mountain hardwear---nice too. Marmot also.. about the same as hardwear. |

This bag is amazing! Almost 10 inches of Loft. It has an accurate temp. rating and you can also buy a +25 degree down liner that snaps into the bag. (bringing bag rating to -30 degree. Unzip the bag (w/o liner) and it's not to hot for 30/40 degree weather. I love it. Customer Service I got mine through fogdog $279. (it's last years Liberty Ridge model) |

Honest temp. rating & excellent value. Complete warmth at 0 deg. - even ordinarily cold feet were toasty. One of few long-size bags on the market to provide adequate room in chest area for big boys. Customer Service No need yet Similar Products Used: rei polarpod, |
