I was one of those who bought this pack at REI Outlet for 100 bucks and picked up the Long size to fit 6'6". I'm not that tall but the extra length gives me room to stash all my clothes, water bottles, gps and mini ham radio inside at the foot to keep them from freezing. This bag is awesome, I've slept out in the snow down to 15 degrees and felt very toasty with just a fleece beanie and underwear. The bag packs down well into an extra large compression sack that was needed to get it into my Gregory Shasta Pack. It's big and bulky but boy is it comfortable. What a steal for $99.00 Customer Service Havent had a chance to use it as this bag has performed flawless since I got it. The bag seems to be very well made. |

Strength:
None Excellent bag for the occasional backpacker! REI was clearancing these bags out at ridiculous prices, so I picked up a couple of XLs (only ones left). It''s a tad bit bulky, but can compress down very good. In spite of heavy condensation in our tent on freezing nights, the bags keep us toasty and dry. Excellent deal. Customer Service None needed for this bag, but REI is exceptionally helpful in general. Similar Products Used: North Face 3D 20 degree. Similar warmth and lighter, but not quite as dry as the Moonstone. |

Killer deal on this one. REI has been dumping the HV bags at sub-$100 prices. I really have had no problems with mine. I have used it in ~40F and it was too warm to keep it even half zipped. Similar Products Used: None |

sleeps warm and cozy but stuffed size is way too big for long-haul trips. But if you do car-camping or short-haul trip, this is not a bad bag. Similar Products Used: None |

The Good: Comfort! This bag is very comfortable, and it's rated temperature of 20 degrees seems to be accurate: I've taken it down to 25 degrees and slept comfortably through the night. Similar Products Used: Marmot Sawtooth |

This sleeping bag is very cozy and I have been completely satisfied with the make of the bag. It rolls up easily, unlike a lot of slippery bags. The cushioning is also very satisfying. Although it is very warm during frigid nights, it also breathes well during the warmer nights. I highly suggest this bag for heavy or light use. Similar Products Used: EMS Expedition |
