Not a bad bag. The expander makes it extremely versatile. It's nice and roomy, and the reduced fill at the bottom is a good idea. My chief complaint is about the size of the bag when packed. I went on a 2-day trip carrying the bag, a 1.5 liter pot, a jacket, and food, and I just fit it into a 2700ci Lowe Alpine Vision 40 pack. I have since exchanged it for a Marmot Arroyo (30 degrees, I figured I'll wear my clothes if needed). The Arroyo is *tiny* compared to this behemoth. I would reccomend this bag if you like as much comfort and versatility as possible and have a little extra room. Customer Service I haven't dealt with Marmot, as I don't need to. REI takes care of absolutely _everything_. Similar Products Used: Marmot Arroyo; Old Flannel bag (no, not while camping) |

I loved this bag its light, fairly compressible i had to buy one of those compression sacks but it kept me warm. I would say the coldest ive slept in this bag is about 35 degrees and i was warm, which impressed me considering my last bag a cascade designs bag rated 20 didnt keep me warm in 50 degrees. I had the stormlight version which i slept outside in drizzile and had no problem the bag dried quick and i was still warm and dry. I highly reccomend this bag Similar Products Used: cascade designs sygery- 20 degrees, the ripstop nylon shell ripped after only about 2 months of use and i kept using it it ripped more and more, didnt keep more warm at 50 degrees |

I wanted to wait at least a year before leaving a review summary for this bag so that I could have a fairly accurate review. After fourteen months in this bag, everything from warm, balmy nights in Moab; cold windy nights in the Canadian Rockies; and cold rainy nights in SouthEast Alaska; I can honestly say that this bag has held up exceptionally well in all of these situations. It has kept me warm and dry, even when winter camping with condensation buildup (I don't own the stormlight version either). The insulation works very well when wet, and loft remains after washing. The bugnet is a stroke of genius (espeically in the Canadian Rockies and in Alaska!) and the pocket is very handy for snacks and an alarm watch. I would recommend this bag to anyone, especially if you can get it on sale at the end of the season. I don't think I will need to be buying a new bag within the next few years either, it has held up very well. One recommendation, if you will be camping in colder temperatures that 15 degrees, I have found a vapor barrier lining to work exceptionally well with this bag, but that is just my opinion. Email me if you have any questions or comments, thanks! Customer Service No need to use customer service. Similar Products Used: The north face (too expensive) |

Love this bag! I bought it as a backup to my MH -15 down bag and have used this ever since. It's light, compresses fairly well and has been warm enough for everything I've needed and adjustable enough to sleep inside. Customer Service I've only dealt with MH on one issue(non-sleeping bag related) and they were awesome! Similar Products Used: *MH -15 Ritter(Awesome bag! Way too hot for most uses.) |

I love this bag! Feels so soft and comfy on my skin. I don't feel tied up in it. The zippers have worked great for me. I bought an opposite for my wife and they zip together easily. We were hot at 40 degrees. I really like how small it compresses in my medium granite gear compression sack. My bag is not one of my biggest items anymore! Stuff sacks are awesome. It has served me well at 30 degrees and I ended up with my legs hanging out... Customer Service None. Similar Products Used: I had a 0 degree mummy bag called the Red Fox, I don't remember the brand, but it was heavy and tight. Kept me warm, but nothing compared to this 2nd dimension. What a beauty! |

Great Bag. Nice sizing and keeps me warm. The mosquito net is a little annoying but does the job well. I got the Stormlight version, but haven't tested it yet. Similar Products Used: TNF Snowshoe 3D(terrible hood) |

This is a nice bag and suits my purposes nicely. Great for 3 season clmbing and mountaineering, and if the weather turns cold or want to go for a continuous 48 winter climb, just wear fleece to sleep or similar and you'll be warm and happy without having to carry a bulkier and heavier 4 season bag. The light weight is great for going light in alpine climbing. One thing though, get a compression bag if you get this. You'll be happy that you did. Similar Products Used: None |

Excellent bag! Wow. I recently went on a 5 day winter trip to Tamogami (North Ontario) during the winter monthes (it easily reached -40 at night). While out on the trail, each night we had to build quincie's to keep warm. Sleeping outside each night, this bag which is rated to -12 kept me warm even when it peaked at -20 in the shelter. I even soaked it one night by accident, and it still kept me warm. Great design, durable, and I love the option of all the upgrades (down upgrade/HV upgrade/Bivy ect.) A bit pricey, but worth every penny! Similar Products Used: None |
