This bag will keep you warm. I found that even with my Terraplane I had to stick it into a compression sack to have it fit into the sleeping bag compartment. I''m not a big guy 5''6" 135lbs. and the bag has ample space. With the quantum expander open I can sit cross legged in! This surprised the crud out of me. Oh well. Overall a nice bag.

A good bag. I used it for winter mountaineering and backpacking on some 14ers in Colorodo. It kept me nice and warm even when it got slightly wet and the temperature droped below zero. Use it with a pad. It doesn't compress very well, and will take up most of your pack. But if you are willing to sacrifice bulk for comfort, this is a great bag.

This bag is really warm. It goes down well below freezing. You have to use a ground pad or the temp rating doesnt mean anything. The problems that this bag has are as follows. First, It is fairly heavy. Second, it is not very compact. It is huge in the stuff sack. The last problem is that the zipper catches on the sides of the bag. Other than these three problems, this bag is good. I would recommend this bag to any cold, wet weather camper.

I used this bag to summit Aconcagua in Argentina and found it to be extremely warm and durable. Spent 16 days on the mountain of which four were in cold temperatures above 19,000ft. Only negatives I had were the compressability of the bag was not as good as down and I had some problems with the zipper catching the material. Otherwise it was warm, roomy and comfortable.

Used this bag in NH near Mount Washington in Feb 1999. It was well below zero and decent wind and I was HOT. I used a OR dryloft cover with it and I was super toasty. This bag is pretty lightweight for a -15 synthetic and with a compression sack I can get it super small.

EMS 20 degree down bags that I had bad luck with. The really nice EMS down bags are killer for the money. Sierra Designs Wild Bill 15 degree that I got soaked and I was still warm at around 25 degrees. Synthetic for me I think.
