The Mountain Hardwear Lamina Sleeping Bag utilizes Thermic CF insulation, a material co-developed by Mountain Hardwear and Polarguard to try to emulate the positive qualities of down in a synthetic. Welded to the bag's shell, Thermic CF doesn't suffer from the water vulnerabilities of down, but has better loft, softness and compressibility than you'd expect from a synthetic. The 15-degree Lamina is a great all-purpose, all-season bag good for everything but the coldest and hottest nights. A draft collar and face gasket seal in warmth, and a trapezoidal comfort footbox makes for more natural foot placement.
