this bag is made for guys who don't like mummy bags...the accordian design allows extra room and comfort without binding and the polargard lining is extrememly warm. Almost hot.

I picked up this bag for $145 on close-out at a local Mountaineering store and cannot be happier. I just took it on a 4 day backpacking trip in the Sierra Nevada Mountains at 11,500 ft. Night time temps. were averaging 13 degrees and I was actually too warm, so I opened the lower zipper to vent the bag a bit. Initially, I wasn't too sure how I'd like the stretchy mid- section of the bag, as I have no problems sleeping on my back. However, I have to admit that I came away really liking this feature and wonder why it isn't more popular. The construction appears first rate, and I expect this bag will get a ton of use in the future.
