I have used this bag on several trips and found it to be everything it was supposed to be. Why carry more when the half sack will do. When used with my down parka (which I also purchased from Nunatak) I was very warm and slept just fine. If you are a serious alpineer and weight concious this is it.
The half sak is light, durable and very well made. Its a great value

Great for winter bivouacs and snow camping!

I used this half bag a lot for multi-day backcountry ski tours. It really helps you bring down the weight of your pack and you can still be cozy and warm at night! You're bringing a down parka anyway, so why carry a full sleeping bag? It's ideal for multi-day skiing and mountaineering adventures.
