I have a hard time sleeping in a mummy bag. I just need more room. Plus, I sleep on my side which is very difficult in a mummy bag, unless you want to leave it halfway unzipped. As soon as I heard about Sierra Designs' Flex bags, I knew they were for me. The bag is more than I'd hoped for. SD bags are 6'0", 2 inches longer than TNF's bags. Its so easy to move around inside the bag also. That claustrophobic feeling of a mummy bag is gone. The Flex hood is the coolest. There is plenty of room to put your arms or water or whatever. You can cinch it down also if you don't need the room. The bag is also very plush and soft. It is a little tough to stuff, but big deal. Its worth the extra 2 minutes it takes. I really need to be comfortable to sleep well, and if you do as well, get this bag.

I bought this bag almost a year ago and I love it. It is designed to accomodate those who sleep on their sides, stomach and/or back. I am that sleeper. I have tried other mummies and even tapered bags, but none comes close to the comfort and warmth of this one. The Polarguard 3D packs well and weighs little. It is an investment that will give you many great returns!

This bag is one of the best I have ever slept in. You don't feel like you are confined as some mummy types. I tossed and turned quite alot when I slept in a regular type mummy bag. With the "flex" feature in this bag, I slept like a baby. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed!!

The most comfortable bag in the world. The bag is a little too heavy for my liking, and doesnt compress as well as comperable bags. Zippers are a bit confusing, but the nite cap feature is awsome. They have a down version now, which probably solves the weight and compresion issues but this is still a great bag. This is perfect for backpacking or just for sleep overs. it is that great.

Best bag I've ever owned! Down, synthetic, doesn't matter, this bag is KING! Perfect for tall guys (long -96 inches, longest bag around!)
At 6'4" I still haves inches to spare at the feet.
15 degree rating right on the $. May need a compression sack to fit in pack, but no worries.
What am I trying to say? Whoever you are, BUY THIS BAG!
