This product was purchased on sale for $160 and has been a real pleasure to use. In the last three years I've had it on windswept cliffs and in damp tents without any complaints. The temperature rating appears adequate for me although I tend to sleep warm. The quality of the bag is strong as I am rough with my possessions and have yet to see any wear, probably due to durable tuck stitching. The DWR did wash off during the first cleansing but the bag continues to puff up after multiple washings. The down is 550 so not too exotic but for the price more than adequate, and only a few ounces of difference from 700 fill. This product made it to the 1997 outside gear picks for its quality workmanship at bargain pricing. This bag lacks a draft collar but has a small down ruffle that surrounds your face and is sufficient for moderate temps. Plenty of room for broad shoulders and a semi thrashing sleeper. If you bargain hunt this product is worth checking out. Customer Service Sierra Designs has been wonderful and patient with all my inquieries, they have assured me numerous times to send the bag in whenever any problems occur without any questions, it is covered for life. Have not sent it in as no problems have yet to surface. Absolutely comfortable, casual, friendly service. Similar Products Used: None |

Quality bag. It's nice to have the baffles so that you can adjust the position of the down filling. Used it once in the snow. It worked, but it was stretching it! Well worth the price considering the quality and weight. Oh, the zipper sometimes catches, but it never gets REALLY stuck. Similar Products Used: REI Nod Pod |

Love this bag. It is roomy enough for someone who like to sleep on their side and the foot area it well stocked with down. On nights in the upper 20's I slept nice and warm, espesially my feet. If you can't stand cold feet this might be the bag for you. The velcro closure is nice when you need it but tends to get caught on everything if you don't have it attached on a warmer night. I found if you fold it in half you can effectivly velcro it to itself and eliminate the problem. Similar Products Used: None |
