I bought the 0°F rated version of the Snowshoe 3D bag about a year and a half ago. I've slept in it about 15 days in that time. It's ok for spring and fall camping,but comes nowhere near it's 0 rating. I camped on Froze To Death Plateau near MT's Granite Peak, this last Labor Day. There was a hard freeze one night and I'm guessing temps got down to around 20. I needed long underwear, shells top and bottom,as well as wool hat inside the bag to be marginally warm. Otherwise, it has nice features,is water resistant, hasn't lost any appreciable loft and is priced right. Definitely not a winter bag as advertised though.

I used it in winter and spring camping. It holds up well about to 25F. I move around a lot when I sleep and this bag sometime make me clausterphobic. But on the good side it worms up really fast so I still use it :)

This bag has served me well for iys first season of winter use. I have been in leantos and tents well below zero and have stayed cozy all night. The bag packs suprisingly small for its size...
I do have some concerns though, the draft tube and zipper dont get along very well, as they snag frequently when getting out, and the hood adjustments while doing their job masterfuly, are color coded string...(can u tell the difference in the dark? i cant)
I got this bag on sale before the 2001's came out. I know that the 2001's have some new insulation but i generally buy most of my gear when its last years stuff...usually its a color change thing. If you can get this bag for the same pric i did BUY THE BAG!!!

Not with TNF but i have delt with EMS many times and they always stand behind their gear, even replacing equiptment that is worn out (prematuraly of course...) they are great and sales people are top notch

a decent bag, with a lot of room. i am small but got the long version (gift). it is very roomy, almost too much so. it has cold areas i havent heated if i move too much. i use this bag for early spring to late fall. it is way too warm for summer. nice no snag zipper and draft tube. stuffs small for size, but still big.

I was planning on buying a Catsmeow, but for less money I grabbed the snowshoe 3D from campmor.com. I have only used this bag a few times, but I am very happy with it. I've been out in 7 degree weather and slept nice and warm. It even felt great on a 40 degree night. This is my first synthetic bag, so far no probs. With my compression sack, it compacts down smaller than a basketball.

I have used my bag winter camping for the past several years with the conclusion that the bag's rating is slightly exagerated. I wouldn't quite rate it down to 0 degrees, but it is an excellent 3 season bag for its weight/space it takes up compared to similar models. If you are a "spread out" or "roll over constantly" kind of sleeper this bag may feel a little clausterphobic from the hips down, and may be prone to waking up like a twistie tie.

The Snowshoe 3D has been a real disappointment. I does not perform as well as my Kelty Jalepeno ($89 bag), the Kelty has a real draft collar vs the draft tube thing on the Snowshoe. When laid side by side the Snowshoe may have one half of an inch more loft. I have been cold in this bag in a range of conditions, I have lent it to others who have experienced the same low performance. It is a 20 degree bag. This bag is a reminder that key backbacking gear should be bought from a reputible shop that will stand behind what they sell. The Snowshoe 3D that I have is a lemon.

It has kept me warm. That's a big plus for me in a bag. I'm not really big, 5'3" and the regular has a lot of room for me. But I can snuggle down inside it and that's the best. I've slept in it down to about 0 degrees and stayed warm, but I don't think I'd be comfortable in it at much lower temperatures. A synthetic bag like this is great when it's moist out, but I would be happier if it were a little lighter and more compact. The outer shell has some small tears in it and I have no idea how they got there. I've only used it a few times now, and never abused it, so I'm a little concerned about the durability.

I have had this bag for a fairly short time but have used it quite a bit. It stays true to its rating, temps below 20F have been hadled nicely. It packs well and is fairly compact for a bag of this rating which makes it good for light winter camping. i have been lucky so far and have not had to deal with it when wet.

This is a great bag to use on warm summer nights where there is a tendency to rain. Polargaurd 3D does not pack as small as down, so don't bother with it unless you plan on getting a little wet. I tend to get cold when I sleep and this bag should definately not be used under 5 degrees F.
