Does pride of ownership mean anything to you? Does being warm no matter what mother nature throws at you sound appealing? Does the ability to toss and turn inside your bag sound like a better way to sleep? Are you willing to pay a bit more for an exponential gain in quality and substance?

I have been camping for 30 years and have had numerous cold weather bags. The bristlecone is the best I have, never been cold yet.The only complaint is that is large for backpacking, however I won't winter camp without it!A Plus, plus Customer Service never needed them, probably won't Similar Products Used: Sierra Designs, REI |

I’m 6'3" tall 260 .It’s made for the Bigfoot among us. This bag is outstanding! The build quality is superb. I recently tested it out at Hancock campground in the whites. The temps that weekend got down around -8 and were not even remotely cold. I couldn’t even imagine getting cold in it. I got the long version so I could put my boots in the bottom and found that it has another zipper that only opens the foot section so you don’t have to unzip the whole thing (Great idea). The zippers never snagged. I can wiggle around a lot, its light for its size and it’s very warm what more can you ask for? I can’t imagine going back into the cold without it. If you’re of Bigfoot size and enjoy winter camping get this bag you won’t regret it. Customer Service Never had to call them Similar Products Used: North Face Goliath, LL Bean Bags |

Finally, a sleeping bag for a fat guy! Seriously this is a super bag for anyone wanting a lot of room to wiggle. I don’t really climb much I like snowshoeing, and I’m not terribly weight conscious. Being a person of wide beam I really loved the extra wide cut of this bag. It’s rated for –10, but with long underwear and wool socks I spent two nights at –22 without being uncomfortable. Highly recommended to anyone tired of squeezing into narrow mummy bags. Customer Service I have yet to deal with them. Similar Products Used: None |
