This is a dandy little friend to have. It's 40dF rating is right on for this cold sleeper. I awoke at 3:30 and looked at the thermometer... 41.3. I was cozy with only a t-shirt and no socks. I used a medium stuff sack since it comes with a small and space was no a factor. While packing I noticed 2 tiny tufts of down had escaped near the top but couldn't find where/how it got out. Fir the coldest winters I will slip it inside the WM Badger to get well below 0dF. Though it is one of the WM Extremelight series it will give me my $ worth.

For above freezing temps, this is my bag of choice. Lightweight, packable, and quality construction ay it all. I believe the tempature rating of 40 deg. is very conservative. With a light layer, I'm good to around freezing. But I'm also a warm sleeper. The price may be steep, but I'll bet this bags will give me many years of service with proper care.

Customer Service

I originally bought the Mitylite but it was to restrictive for me (I move a lot at night). The manufacturer gladly exchanged the bags.

This is the bag! Extremely light, low price, comfy down to about freezing for a warm sleeper. This is the bag I use all summer and rarely do I sleep in it zipped up. It's mostly a warm quilt to me. In addition, it makes a fine liner inside my cold weather Marmot bag for added warmth. I have nothing negative to say of this bag nor its maker. Its my ideal bag when temps are above freezing.

Customer Service

I have drooled over this companies bags for quite a while, though I own only their Mitylite model, I believe they make the finest bags in the industry.

In the year that I've owned the Mitylite, it's become my favorite bag. It's spacious, warm, packs down small..in short I recommend it highly. I've been in it when the weather outside the tent was in the 30's and slept comfortably(I am a warm sleeper, however) My only complaint is the stuff sack, I think it is too small (6x12) and compresses the bag too much. I'm using a 7x15.
