Outstanding Bag System. I purchased one of these bags from Wiggy's while I was living in Iceland. I wouldn't have wanted anything else. With the piercing gale force winds, and the blowing cold rain off the North Atlantic I stayed warm. One night my tent split and collapsed around me while I slept. I awoke that morning sitting in a pool of water that had collected inside the tent. My ground pad and the bag was drenched, but I never woke up cold! It's great for living here in Nevada too...just zip on/off the dual bags and use the best combo's for the temperature.

My Wiggy bag has taken me to the deserts of Utah, the mountains of Colorado, the balds of NC, and NH in the winter. So far after 4 years of use the bag still has all of its loft and still keeps me warm on sub zero nights. The bags warm when wet capabilities and speed of drying have saved me from many sleepless nights. The only negatives I can say is that the bag is a little too roomy for my 5'8" 160lb frame. It is too much bag for me to warm up and when the temp falls below 10deg I need to fill the extra space with a small fleece blanket or else wherever I move the bag is cold.

Customer Service

Wiggy is a nice guy. When I called he answered the phone and answered all my questions.

Good tuff bag! I've had my Super Light for 5 years and it is like new. I've used it on everything from summer hikes to Winter Mountaineering. It is a little bulky compared to down, but you don't have to worry about water. I have been a little cold in temp's slightly above 0 degrees, but I would still recommend this bag.

OK, so Jerry's a little "anxious", and I really didn't believe all his hype, but I bought one anyway and have been just knocked out by this thing ! I bought it as a "loaner" so I didn't have to give my buddies my expensive FF stuff, but now they get the down, and I get warm ! Build a better mousetrap, and they will come. (Or something like that). I think Jerry just built the better mousetrap.

Customer Service

Jerry is quite a character, but is definitely knowledgeable about his bags and his construction. It's kind of his baby, so he's a little hyper, but he's also right.

This review if for the Super Light FTRSS . This is two bag system that combines a +0 bag with a +35 bag. Together they are rated as -40. Wiggy's bags are known for their durability and mine are no exception. The Lamilite insulation is the most durable and lofty synthetic insulation on the market. They aren't the lightest bags on the market, but if longevity is something you value, then Wiggy's is the best.

Customer Service

Wiggy's are the only sleeping bag that has a lifetime guarentee on the insulation.

I have the SuperLight FTRSS which includes the SuperLight, the +35 Overbag, and a combined -40 when both bags are zipped together. While Wiggy's bags don't come with any fancy fabrics or options, they are super durable and the Lamilite insulation drapes around me like a down bag. It is also a little heavier than a Polarguard 3D bag but this is mainly due to the fact that; 1)It has a very accurate temperature ratings, and 2)It uses much more durable materials such as heavier zippers and shell material. Compactibility is just as good as any Polarguard 3D bag. If your a weight freak, look elsewhere. If your tired of replacing your synthetic bag every few years, then get a Wiggy's. The loft of the insulation is guarenteed for life, no matter how much you wash it.

Customer Service

Mr. Wigutow can be a little ""difficult"" to talk to sometimes, but I've never really had any problems with him.

The lamilite stuffing has kept me warm & dry for 4 years of use. Wiggy's bags are one of the very few bags that can be washed in the machine and dryer at home - the newsletter ranting is also a bonus! Overall, for under $200 I've yet to find a better bag out there, performance AND value.

I bought a SuperLite 3 years ago to replace a very claustrophobic mummy bag. After Talking to Wiggy I decided on a long, widebody bag. Well, it is indeed very very long and very very wide. So much so that I can extend my arms over my head and still stay inside the bag. It takes a little longer to warm up, but is plenty warm once you get there. It doesn't have a draft collar but that doesn't seem to be a big problem as the fabric kind of forms around my body to reduce drafts. I do sometimes use my fleece around my neck when needed. I guess my only complaint is that the bag is extremely large for me and thus makes it a little problematic to squeeze into my bag compartment, but that's partly my own fault.

I don't mean to be cynical where did all these people with glowing reviews come from. It doesn't take a genius to figure out somebody might be stacking the deck. Anyhow my review of the ultralight, worked fine for for two trips, but each time I compressed the bag it never seemed to regain its full loft. Then on my thrid trip, an extended climbing trip when the bag got a "little" wet and froze, it lost about 2 inches of loft that never came back even after I dried it at home. The bag was about 1 lb heavier than advertised weight, seemed to sleep a little cold. (and this is from a person who uses a Western Mountineering Iriqious rated at 38 F down to 25 F comfortably and a 0 F bag I've sleep down to -20 F just fine)
Also seemed to retain body odor, a problem I've never had with any other bag.
The price seemed to be good at first untill I used the product. It's the old adage you get what you pay for. Caveat Emptor, read other gear reviews on other web sites to get a balanced point of view.

Customer Service

Customer Service - Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha. I complained - about my warrentied for life bag, I now use it as an example for SAR training of what equipment NOT to buy.
