Lightweight and minimalist design is perfect for alpine ascents. Mesh vent on lower end of pad allows easy and compact roll up. Tie-in loops can be used for coupling with second pad or securing to upgrade bivy. Zippered cover allows for easy pad access and all parts are completely washable. 6.75 R value.

Good cold weather sleeping pad! Closed cell foam doesn't let cold air through, open cell layer is comfy. Although bulky, not as bulky as the age old standby of using a Ridgerest,or other foam pad under your Thermarest for cold weather camping and warmer too! Ties up fast,no folding and kneading, does not need a stuffsack. Doesn't absorb water and less "slippery" fabric than Thermarest, so sleeping bag doesn't slide off. I bought the 60" as I use the foam back of my backpack to rest my feet, if you don't go that route consider the 72". 5 stars:it's warm, comfy, doesn't slide around and saves 5 minutes of rolling and packing over a Thermarest. Although I got it on closeout at STP,(as the newer ones double as chairs)I'd pay full price.
