This is a good stove for the price. I also got the auto ignition for it. a nice feature. Putting it all together can be a hassle. Once set up just go, no priming or cleaning, or pumping. The fuel is easy to find. Apowerful flame but the cheezy windscreen doesnt help to much. It is also compact and superlight. Not many moving parts so less to go wrong. I have had mine for about 3-4 years without a problem.

Nice little stove. Have been cooking a bit with it when camping and at home due to hurricane Floyd. Simple design. Like the ability to interchange the canister and switch to the lantern. Puts out a fair amount of heat. Downsides have been poor performance in high wind and stability. Wish it had a better wind screen and some sort of feet for the canister.

this stove is great. lightweight, compact, inexpensive, lights fast and easy, a choice of fuel cell sizes. the only drawback is fiddling with the windscreen gets touchy when its cold, but i just use a thin piece of aluminum now so its not a problem.

Bought it on a whim after going thru a couple of other white gas stoves, and I love the little bugger. It lights fast, runs soild, and the canisters last for a pretty long time (both sizes). A real consideration for a solo packer, and with the lanturn it's a great system.

As a long time user of the Wisperlight stoves, I can only say one thing when it came to my ""awakening"" and switching to the Turbo 270.. "" Flame on!"" This thing is easy to operate. 1. Turn on gas 2. Light light match. 3. Bring match close to stove. 4, Eat dinner while you watch those MSR folks fool with lighting / priming their stoves. This thing rocks.

I've had this stove for over 3 years and it has worked flawlessly. Never clogs and is super adjustable. It is very durable and super easy to set up and get going. On trips when I was with other people I was always the first done. Sometimes I would even have boiling water by the time they got their MSR going and it wasn't that they did not know how to set it up either. Anyway that said I have some complaints. The wind screen is lame and doesn't work well in anything over a breaze. Also the stove is a bit tipsy so you have to make sure it is on lever ground. And lastly when the gas gets low the performance drops significantly especially in colder weather (this is true with all canister stoves. Another thing I like is that I also have the lantern and they use the same canister so that is pretty handy. I got mine on sale for $25 so I have gotten more than my money's worth.

This stove is inexpensive, but has always come through in any conditions I've experienced. There's really no need to buy the more expensive and more hyped stoves. This thing is tiny, light, and tough. Be sure to bring the wind shield because high winds can blow out the flame. Don't think twice. Buy this stove and spend the money you save elsewhere.

This stove is a work-horse. It is both inexpensive and reliable. The only drawbacks are stability and the cartridges can be difficult to find. It comes with a nice stuff sack that is small enough to fit almost anywhere. I plan to purchase the accompanying lantern soon.

I've had my stove since the Boy Scout days of the 70's and I've never had a problem with it. It lights everytime. It heats like mad and will simmer well. However, you do have to experiment a few times to get it low, as you'll often kill the flame by turning it down too much. This is only a minor problem and it only costs you a few extra matches.

The drawbacks of this stove are obvious. The need to carry spare cartidges and to dispose of used ones. Also, the design is inherently less stable than MSR stoves. However, with care and ingenuity, I've never had anything fall off.

As to reliability, I've wanted to get an MSR instead ever since they came out. Alas, my stove has never even hickuped, so I haven't been able to justify replacing it.

I've even lent it to my brother-in-law, a carpenter who uses it every day to heat up his lunch at the construction site. This stove simply will not die!
